It’s my birthday this week, and what better way to celebrate than with books?
That I wrote. Heeheehee!
But wait, there’s more!
And, as the frosting on the awesome cake…
My first article for National Geographic (Extreme Explorer) is now out! Like dolphins? Read the article in its entirety here.
My dad, who shares my birthday, got an even better gift this year, though. After complications from a hip replacement and seven months in a wheelchair, he got the green light to start walking again. Which, quite frankly, is the best gift I could have gotten, too.
Want to give one of your favourite authors a gift without spending a dime? Review one of their books. It’s quick and easy for you and makes it easier for other readers to find that author’s work.
What about you? How do you celebrate your birthday?
WOO-HOO!!!
Yay, books! YAY, awards!! YAY Birthdays!
I celebrate by planting trees and other plants. And The Hubbles usually tortures me by making me starve all morning while he and The Kidlets make me breakfast and bring it to me after I’ve waited in bed for three or four hours. 😉 It’s the thought that counts, right?
I think the thought still counts!
