Fuzzy Forensics Wins an INDIEFAB Award!

July 2, 2015

9781928005032_cov.inddFuzzy Forensics won a Silver Medal in the 2014 INDIEFAB Book of the Year Awards!! Over 1500 books were submitted to the various categories, so I’m thrilled, to say the least. Unfortunately…

The publisher of both Fuzzy Forensics and Fox Talk has gone out of business.

Yeah. Irony knows where I live.

All is not lost, however. I am launching new paperback editions of both titles under my own imprint. It takes a couple of weeks for buy links to go live at online retailers, but I will post them here as soon as they are up.

INDIEFAB-logo-250x250In the meantime, you can order hardcover or paperback copies of either book directly from me. Contact me to discuss delivery/shipping options, or for discounts on bulk orders for use in schools, summer science camps, book clubs, birthday party gift bags, etc.

You can also buy direct from me this Saturday, in Halifax’s very own Victoria Park. I’m taking part in the 2015 Victoria Barks festival for dogs and the people who love them, and I’d be happy to sign a book or just talk science with you.

What about you? Any good, bad, or particularly ironic news to share? I love hearing from you!

  1. So sorry to hear about the publisher – Your books look like something that would be popular at a Scholastic Book Fair.

    1. Thanks, Jolene. It’s an unfortunate situation, but I’m trying to focus on the future. I’m not sure you can get into a Scholastic Book Fair without an agent, but it’s worth looking into – teachers have told me they love my books.
