I’ll be at Hal-Con for the next three days, signing books, talking about science writing, and wearing some seriously geeky T-Shirts.
You can find me at table E9 on the exhibitor’s floor. In addition to launching my newest children’s books, What Are Programs and Apps? and How Do Video Games Work? (appropriate, no?), I’m offering a conference special on my award-winning titles, Fox Talk and Fuzzy Forensics – buy two paperbacks for $15 (regular $20), or two hardcovers for $30 (regular $40). There’s no tax, and you can mix and match.
On Saturday at 3:00 pm, you can find me in Room 304, giving a panel called From the Lab to the Library: Writing About Science for Kids. Bring a notepad and your questions for this crash course on publishing science books and articles for kids.
Full details are available at the Hal-Con website. You can also follow the action at #halcon2015
Hope to see you there!
Sounds like a great convention! Now why couldn’t it be a little closer to Chicago?
Maybe Chicago’s geek concentration is too low! 🙂
