A Blitz of Book News

November 15, 2014

9781928005032_cov.inddHello poor neglected blog! I apologize for my spotty attendance – November is a crazy month for both my day job and my writing work, and I confess to having chosen sleep over the internet on several occasions.

But here I am, and I have book news.

Fuzzy Forensics Earns its First Award

Fuzzy Forensics is a finalist in the 2014 USA Best Books Awards. This book is very close to my heart, and I’m so pleased that it’s being well-received. The shiny new cover highlights the lovely review from Kathy Reichs, which I’m still muppet flailing over, by the way. 😀

Christmas Shopping? Check Out the Local Wishlist!

Along with tons of other amazing gift ideas, Fuzzy Forensics and Fox Talk are featured in the Local Wishlist. If you’re in Nova Scotia, you can buy these items locally. Many (including my books) are also available to order online. By the way, if you’re ordering copies of my books to give as presents this holiday season, contact me by December 5 to receive a personalized, autographed bookplate.

In the Halifax Area? I’ll Sign Your Book in Person!

I’ll be at Chapters in Dartmouth on November 21, from 1-3 PM, singing copies of Fox Talk and Fuzzy Forensics. To promote the signing, I’ll also be on TV next week talking about my books, and I’ll share the links here when the video is live. Wish me luck!

Forensic Science: In Pursuit of Justice – Available for Pre-Order

My upcoming teen book, on the history of forensic science, is coming out in January. You can pre-order now from the online retailer of your choice.

I’ve also completed two additional books, in a technology series for the youngest readers. Look for those in 2015!

So, what have you been up to lately? Finishing up projects? Starting your holiday preparations? Let’s chat!
