So this is what I did for Christmas:
As you can see, the water in the Dominican Republic was considerably warmer than that in Iceland, the site of my last snorkel adventure:
I’ve been off work for a while and it will take me a couple more days to get back in the swing of things, but regular posting will resume very soon – probably with news about my brand new book, which is out this month. Happy New Year, indeed.
