Finding a New Normal

It’s been a year. In some ways a wonderful year, in some ways a really rough one. Most of all, a very full year, both schedule-wise and emotionally. A lot of things I would otherwise love to do didn’t happen, because I had to lighten my schedule or lose my mind.

Other things I would otherwise love to do didn’t happen because they just seemed too overwhelming.

Blogging has fallen into both of those categories. When so much is happening, it’s hard to know what to say, much less find the time to say it. And since I’m the kind of person who hermits when overwhelmed, well…

I have a few more weeks of utter madness ahead of me. And probably a few more weeks of sorting through the emotional fallout after that. And then, I hope, I’ll be settling back into a routine. It won’t be the same routine, but eventually that new normal will just be… normal.

Thank you for sticking with me. I hope we’ll be spending more time together soon.

How do you cope when life happens? I could use the advice!

  1. It takes time, and yeah, it’s different, but time does heal (had a tough year, too.). Hugs!
